(sorry you missed it)...
Two of the truths I addressed tonight were,
* The fact that God saves young people at a very early age in order to save them from a life of sin and the perils that go with youthful rebellion.
* God not only saves early in life in order to keep them from a life of sin, but He saves them so that they might be empowered as mighty men and women of valor in the service of Jesus.
I pointed out that it is wonderful to hear about those whom God has saved and delivered from the bondage of homosexuality, domestic violence, child abuse, drug addiction and other sins. However, coming to Christ early in life keeps a child free from such corruption and guilt, which is an equally miraculous Divine deliverance.
But God has an even higher calling for those youth who have avoided the snares of Satan, by God's grace. God wants to fill them and lead them as spiritual champions, sent into a lost and dying world to rescue those who have been taken captive by Satan.
Parents and adults in the church need to raise the voice of praise and victory, as a standard for the church young people to follow. A triumphant church is a unified church, marching forward in victory.
RISE UP O MEN OF GOD,
HAVE DONE WITH LESSER THINGS,
GIVE HEART AND MIND AND SOUL AND STRENGTH,
TO SERVE THE KING OF KINGS.
