08/20/16 IDENTITY CONFUSION

08/20/16 IDENTITY CONFUSION

God has given the keys of the kingdom to believers, with the Sword of the Spirit, to set sinners free from sin and death.

God has sent His people to give their lives as they evangelize (spread the Good News of salvation) to the unsaved world.

Sadly, the Church, and believers individually, have failed to do the work of peacemaking, but are eager to do the work of policing.

God has given the keeping of civil order to the State, with the sword of steel to punish the wicked and protect the righteous.

God requires the nations to submit to, and to establish, His moral rule over the kingdoms of the world.

Sadly, the State has turned from God and has abused the people, while promoting godlessness and abomination.

God did not give the propagation of the gospel to the State.

God did not give the power of the sword of steel to the Church.

There is no directive in the New Testament for believers to wield the sword of steel against another human being.

There is no example of a New Testament believer taking the sword of steel against another human being, with God's approval.

There are directives to believers in the New Testament NOT to use violence against other human beings.

There is an example of God reproving a believer for using violence against another human being.

STILL, the sword of steel is God's answer to wicked men and wicked systems, but it is through those who do not wield the Sword of the Spirit.

How strange that those who openly deny the Holy Bible speak out against man's inhumanity to man (even when they are the propagators), while those who claim to be Bible believers are quick to hate and hurt the unsaved.

The Liberal Left and Un-Righteous Right are both in error.

Bible believers who refuse take human lives are despised by both sides.

Yet, this is what God has decreed as His will.

As the State becomes more godless and oppressive, believers will suffer at the hands of the State and society.

Put out your big anchor, the storm is coming.
