If you find your life is far off of the right path; if you find yourself far from where you should be, don't blame anyone else and don't blame circumstances. That is the loser response to failure.
People and circumstances can influence your direction and get you off course (usually it is because you allow it), but God provides "on ramps" for those who have gone astray, providing a way for them to get back on course. If you end up far off course, far away from where you should be, it is because you did not get back on God's way when He provided you the opportunity.
Everyone has had people and situations that interrupted or thwarted their plans and course in life. Some people have had REAL problems and obstacles, yet they did not allow their problems to scuttle their lives.
If you know people who have succeeded or accomplished things in life, it may look like they had it easy, but it is also likely that you don't know the hardships they faced and the failures they overcame, because they do not complain, whine, make excuses, find fault, blame the problems and the people they had to get past in order to be winners. They did not have it easy, but they did not give-in to their difficulties. They suffered losses and set backs, but they refocused and reset their course to overcome their obstacles.
The longer we put off doing the hard but right thing, the harder it is to do the right thing. The longer we procrastinate and the more we try to cut corners, the greater and more long lasting will be our losses. Eventually our hands will be filled with only the shells of what should have been and our hearts and mouths will be filled with disappointments and complaining.
DON'T WAIT ANOTHER SECOND.
DO THE RIGHT THING, NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT IT IS.
And don't forget, each step leads to the next, each turn takes your whole life closer to, or further from you desired or intended destination.
And each win or loss, in any given area, fuels the other areas of our lives.
There are only so many "on ramps" left, and you don't want to miss any more of them.
