The Church is a spiritual army, and local churches are units of spiritual soldiers, teams of spiritual warriors.
I find it interesting that the fighting men in worldly human military groups have no problem being committed to maintaining the safety, integrity, identity, loyalty and morale of their group, above all others, even when there are personality conflicts.
Church people (Christians) should be AT LEAST as committed to their brothers and sisters in their local church. There is something wrong when local church people do not find their greatest camaraderie with the people in their local church.
It is not as much a matter of affinity that one person has for another person as it is commitment to a person, a group, a common cause.
This kind of unity with a church may require a person TO CHOOSE to dedicate himself to his team. It is not a matter of shutting others out of your life, it is a matter of building the most important relationships first.
