If Sinning Religion Is Right, by teaching people that they do not have the obligation, or the option, or the opportunity, or the power to DO the will of God, to OBEY God, to EFFECT their salvation, then God must have forgotten His own plan, or James (and other Bible writers) must have misunderstood (or misrepresented, or misquoted) when the Bible says believers should SUBMIT to God, RESIST the devil, DRAW NEAR to God, CLEANSE YOUR HANDS you sinners, PURIFY YOUR HEARTS you double minded.
BUT, Sinning Religion Is NOT RIGHT, and God did not forget His own plan, AND Bible writers did not misunderstand, misrepresent, or misquote God when the Bible commands us to believe, repent, confess, follow, obey, submit, resist, draw near, cleanse, purify, forgive, and a list of other God given directives.
God does not "believe for us," and He does not "decree us" to come to salvation and heaven. God provided the way for us to come to salvation and heaven, and He invites us to come salvation and heaven. God requires us to act in faith and grace concerning His provision and offer. God does not simply say the words, without requiring the response. God gave humans the power of free will, and God does not violate His own plan and provision.
Obedient faith is not self righteousness or "works salvation," no matter what the devil says. It is God's plan. The devil told Eve that doing something God had forbidden would not separate her from God. The devil now tells people that not doing what God commands will not separate us from God. The devil has always been a liar and sin has always separated men from God.
GOD COMMANDS (and enables) people to...
* Believe,* Confess,* Repent,* Follow,* And other directives.
HOWEVER, If you want to follow in Eve's steps, then don't obey God, and then at the Great White Throne Judgement, see how that worked out for you.
Either you will listen to those who tell you that obeying God is either not possible or not essential,
OR you will give heed to the directives God gives in His word.
