Two of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated by Satan are related to one another.
#1 God is blind to sin, through self deception. The fallacy is that there is a difference between a believer's Standing and his State, which means that God sees us in Christ as being holy, but in fact (according to this heresy) our actual State is that we are not Holy. In other words, God does not see what is actually true.
#2 Man is deceived into believing that God does not see believers in their sin.
The end result is the same. According to these false notions God saves us in our sins, He does not save us from our sins.
Of course God cannot be fooled, therefore the idea that Christ simply hides our sins, rather than removes our sin is absurd. However, men are deceived when they believe that God either cannot or will not actually save us from our sins.
Galatians 6:7-8
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
