There is a great need for Spirit filled workers in local churches today, just as there was in the early Church. They make it possible for the preacher/teacher to do the first and foremost work of proclaiming the word and praying. When the pastor's time is taken up with other work, no matter how important it is, then the essential work of the word suffers.
Spirit Filled Churchmen Acts 6:2-4
(2) Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
(3) Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
(4) But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
All Believers Have The Ministry Of Reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
(18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
(19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
(20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
All Believers Working Together 1 Corinthians 3:7-9
(7) So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
(8) Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
(9) For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
All Believers Are Co-workers Together With Christ 2 Corinthians 6:1
(1) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
A Priority With Christ Matthew 9:36-38
(36) But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
(37) Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
(38) Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
It Is Personal
I have to do so much that needs to be done that I cannot always do that which I need to do. When my work suffers, everyone else suffers.
I could give a list of ministries that need to be carried out, but one main issue for me is a media person. A person who understands media, understands my ministry, understands my vision, understands my message. As with any ministry, this person needs to be spiritual. This person needs to be born, filled, led, gifted, anointed, enabled and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

In fact, think about what the army of God would accomplish in the local church if all of the warriors of love and peace fit this description.
