TRUTH IS OLD SCHOOL, because truth does not change.
I am just an old preacher with an old message. However, 50 years ago I was a young preacher with the same old message. The difference is, there are fewer and fewer preachers who are still preaching the old message.
In my ministry, I was always avant-garde, or at least cutting edge with some of my methods, and I still believe the method should serve the message. But when it comes to the message I preach, I am OLD SCHOOL. The same old truth that the Bible writers recorded is more contemporary than tomorrow's blog.
As the Scripture say, the message of God is the same,
Jude 1:3
(3) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Mark 13:31
(31) Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Make sure that you are feeding your soul and building your future on the foundation of God, which stands sure, no matter what storm rages against it. Don't get caught up in, "a changing church for a changing world," mentality.
