VISIT WITH FRIENDS
and
MESSAGE FROM DLG (see 4th paragraph).
I visited some friends at Crabtree Gym in Myrtle Beach. I saw Miss Barb, Mr. Rob, Miss Ja'net, Coach Ed, and of course, my brother and fellow pastor, Gregory Moody. No one was playing Pball, so it was Crabtree staff only.
Brother Greg and I talked about a number of things. I am so glad for the good things God is doing in his life, family and ministry.
He told me that he recently preached about Paul telling his shipmates to stay with the ship though the storm threatened them. STAY WITH THE SHIP and God will protect you. It does not matter that the ship gets tossed and damaged, STAY WITH THE SHIP. There is no safety away from the ship.
DLG says...
This is the message for today. The Church (the followers of Christ) and the revelation of God are under attack, but if you want to weather the moral storm raging in our society and you want to be saved from eternal doom, STAY WITH THE SHIP. It may seem to be breaking into little pieces, but STAY WITH THE SHIP.
The Church of the Bible is the Old Ship of Zion and it will get us through the storms. God gave us the Church and Satan has counterfeited the Church and false religion has impersonated the Church, but God's promise is that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of the living God.
Don't abandon the true Church of the Bible in favor of the modern cruise ships and luxury liners of political correctness and emergent religion. Don't trade the faith of salvation for the popular, "feel good" man made, devil honoring religion that doesn't save from sin. The storm is about to intensify, but STAY WITH THE SHIP. JESUS is at the helm, and He will get you to safe harbor.
