You can do whatever you want to do, as a Christian, provided you want to do what God wants you to do.
You will want to do whatever God wants you to do, when you (as a Christian) are walking in the Spirit, walking in the Light.
This is because God miraculously transforms us; He does not simply forgive us.

God's answer to inward desire to sin is, let God purify your heart from sinful nature.
God's answer to outside temptation is, resist in the power of the indwelling Spirit.
