When someone (even a self proclaimed elect person) tells you that it is impossible to be holy or to live a holy life...that person is speaking for himself and testifying to his own lack of grace. That person is not speaking for God.

Instead, here is God’s provision for spiritual victory...

God's abounding gift of grace (Ro. 5:15).

God's grace teaches us to live godly lives (Ti. 2:12).

God's visible grace (Ac. 11:23).

Whoever denies that the grace of God makes us more than conquerors is lying.

That person is telling you Satan's word.

That person is not telling you God's word.

God says,
1 John 5:3-5
(3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
(4) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
(5) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
