11/15/16 NOT FOR SPIRITUAL GAME PLAYERS
I recently wrote a NOTE entitled, UNITY BY DESIGN. One of the verses I quoted was,
Ephesians 4:3
(3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
The unity of heart and mind and life, which God intends for marriages, families and churches, is often lost.
But God instructs spiritual people to take steps to restore unity of the Spirit with other people.
WE DO THIS...
* If we want to be in a right relationship with others.
* If we love others.
* If we want others to enjoy the grace of God.
* If we want unity, peace, love in our family or our church.
BUT WE MUST BE PRO-ACTIVE...
* We must be humble.
* We must be conciliatory.
* We must be forgiving.
* We must be tenderhearted.
* We must be willing to be wronged.
* We must be willing to lose face.
* We must be honest.
* We must be open.
* We must be brokenhearted.
* We must be determined.
* We must be communicative.
* We must be loving.
* We must have a servant's heart.
LOOK TO JESUS AS OUR EXAMPLE.
