As a believer in Christ,
as a follower of Christ,
as a living part of His Body, a Christian
* is an over comer (1 Jn. 5:4-5);
* is a winner (1 Co. 9:24);
* is more than a conqueror (Ro. 8:37);
* knows that he shall receive the prize (Ph. 3:14).
But those who are not saved are already lost and will continue to lose in this world and in the world to come if they do not turn from sin, by turning to God. This entire world loses. We all have loved ones and friends who will be lost forever.
Therefore, celebrate the victory that you have in Christ, but don't throw a victory party for this sinful world. Saying that, "the kingdom has come," doesn't make it so. Saying that, "we have won," does not liberate the prisoner. You cannot play while Rome burns. You must be involved in an evacuation effort. You must risk your life to save the lives of the lost.
Don't let those who hold to the skewed view of, "name it claim it," draw you into a state of euphoria when they say this world is getting better, while this world is actually falling at a break neck speed toward final destruction. Don't allow the "kingdom now people" to maneuver you into believing that this denuded and shameful society, devoid of all decency, is covered and safe.
