14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Even if I believe this verse is a promise to the Church age (and I don't, though the principle is applicable today), Americans have no right to ask for God's blessing, healing, deliverance until they meet the criteria.
They must become Christians by being saved.
They must quit trusting in themselves, in their programs, in their alliances, and they must trust God only.
They must call on God incessantly.
They must turn from all sin.
Otherwise, forget it.
