No wonder Satan has worked so strenuously to turn people away from believing, knowing, telling and reading the book of Genesis, especially chapters 1-12. He has attacked this inerrant revelation of God through (and beginning with)...
* Spiritism (Satan in the Garden),
* Secularism (Cain),
* Paganism and False Religion (Astrology and other corruptions of human invention in early Babylon),
* Antisemitism (rejection of God's provision through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, arising with Ishmael and eventuating in Islam),
* Humanism, Modernism and Liberalism (anti-Biblical, pseudo-intellectualism and supposed academia during "The Enlightenment" and modern education).
To undermine confidence in God's revelation is to promote all of these damnable heresies.
The first chapters of Genesis record the foundation of history, wisdom, knowledge, instruction, understanding. I find myself constantly returning to these chapters as I teach and preach concerning the condition of men, the salvation of God and the present upheaval in our world.
Find someone who denies the Genesis account of origins, and you will have found someone who aligns with false doctrine. Read God's record of human origin, and then re-read it, again and again. Remember, the plan of salvation is also found in this early record (Ge. 3:15, the first Messianic promise).
