THAT'S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT...
What we need to see more often is OLD TIME SALVATION.
* I am talking about an awareness of the reality, the presence, the displeasure, the holiness, the judgment of God.
* I am talking about conviction that turns a person inside out and upside down with guilt and remorse, for offending the King of the universe.
* I am talking about the searching of the Holy Spirit that knows no boundaries of time or space and is relentless
* I am talking about sinners realizing that they have offended the almighty, all holy, all loving, all just God of the universe and that they stand in jeopardy of dropping into a devils eternal torment, at that very moment.
* I am talking about a realization that Christ, the holy Son of God, died for them, in order to provide salvation, which results in total trust, love and surrender to God,
* I am talking about a face to face encounter with God and the assurance that Christ died for that person's sins and that Christ rose again from the grave and is willing to forgive and save that sinner from his sins and give him eternal life.
* I am talking about a conversion that sets the sinner free, that makes the sinner into a new creation and ignites a roaring inferno of unquenchable love and devotion.
* I am talking about heart wrenching, soul searching, life changing, sin hating, God fearing and Christ loving transformation that lasts a lifetime.
Little pity pat apologies are not acceptable because they change nobody. Pleasant, dignified religious decisions don't last and they don't shake the foundations of hell.
Modern Christianity is made up of socially acceptable conversions, which don't save anyone.
