REALITY REFRESHER
Just a quick reality refresher: it was not the Christian faith that was REFORMED in the 1500's, it was organized religion.Roman Catholicism had become the predominant religion, claiming to be Christian. The errors of the RCC were so over the top that even priests were ready to return to a more Biblical viewpoint.
Today people say that "Islam needs to be Reformed just as Christianity was." WRONG. Islam needs to be ABANDONED just as Romanism needed to be abandoned.
People do not need man based REFORMATION, they need Divine based TRANSFORMATION through faith in Jesus Christ.
Men are always thinking they can save themselves, but salvation from sin and eternal separation are only possible through miraculous intervention.
Men don't need REFORMATION, they need RECLAMATION, REGENERATION and RESTORATION.
