2/14/16 NO SURPRISES

NO SURPRISES
Okay, i am not a cook. I don't even like to see how some food is prepared. But i think it is safe to say that you should not expect to end up with lemon meringue pie if you use the ingredients and follow the recipe for chocolate fudge.

Likewise we should not expect a successful outcome to our life if we input the wrong ingredients and follow the wrong recipe. Yes, there is a recipe for success and there is a recipe for disaster. Just because you have invested resources preparing one course, it does not mean that you cannot or should not change the menu.

The sooner you start preparing for success and eternity, the better results you will have and the less waste there will be. But it is better to dump a life of failure and come empty handed to the family reunion (like the repentant thief on the cross) than to cling to the bitter herbs and cankered morsels of a life misspent.

If you see that you are presently exspending your resources on the wrong course,
STOP NOW,
DUMP THE GARBAGE,
START AFRESH
with God's heavenly fare, and healthy choice.

Remember too, you are not just preparing for yourself, but also for your family and others. Regardless of how well intentioned you may have been, when the ingredients are wrong, or tainted, or if the recipe is unsuitable, then you must dump your failed endeavor, in order to avoid certain disaster.
