HOLD TIGHT AND TURN LOOSE
Moving time is time to get rid of the extraneous. Not always fun and not always done.
Some folks never move and their "collecting" becomes hoarding. Often they hoard junk, trash, garbage, debris. The things they have held onto, eventually hold onto them. They become slaves to, as well as bound and controlled by their choices, their obsessions.
Sometimes experts are sent in to help the hoarders divest themselves. It may seem silly to others, but it is difficult, painful to the hoarder. Sometimes the hoarders choose to lose everything good to hold onto that which is ruining them. They give up dignity, freedom, usefulness, family in order to hold onto that which holds them.
THE SAME IS TRUE IN SPIRITUAL LIVES.
Some folks will hold onto things that are destructive. They hold on in spite of spiritual counsel to divest. They lose dignity, freedom, usefulness, influence, ministry and family by holding onto junk, trash, garbage.
Don't wait to be confronted. Seek pastoral counsel now and follow it.
Your pastor is the expert that God's sends to deliver you.
