10/23/16 YET TO SEE

10/23/16 YET TO SEE

It has been said,
""The world has yet to see what God will do with and for and through and in and by the man who is fully consecrated to Him."

Obviously Jesus was the only Man Who lived His entire life in total submission to the heavenly Father. However, the point of the statement was concerning sinners who come to Christ by faith and follow Him fully. There have been people fully consecrated to God, and great things have been accomplished with, for, through, in and by those people. Still, there are very few who have lived a life of full consecration.

(now is good time to make total commitment).

However, I think that it is even less likely to see a husband wife team totally consecrated, and even rarer to see a family fully dedicated, or a church.

In churches, families, marriages, as with individuals, there have been moments of following fully, but a lifetime of total dedication is a different story. The more people (moving parts) there are, the less likely it is.

Full consecration requires death to the self life and submission to Divine and Biblical authority, as well as following the Holy Spirit's leading. The works of grace (regeneration and entire sanctification) are essential, as well as the growth in grace and knowledge. The fruit of the Spirit must be allowed to flourish and a daily denial of self orientation, by aligning with the message of the cross, must be followed.

Wow, when I think of what could be accomplished by such commitments, I am awe struck.

(insert second invitation to repentance and total commitment here)...
