I thought someone was going to ask me for spiritual guidance about...
marriage or
personal relationships or
child rearing or
temperament or
habits or
amusements and entertainments or
alliances or
Bible or
doctrine or
education or
attitudes or
mood swings or
witnessing or...
Well, you get the idea.
Fortunately, most people either have a firm grip on being Christian in a modern world, or they at least have more insight than an old Bible thumper like me, or they can get better help from the internet, the magazine rack at Walmart, or some Dr. or guru on television or some other religious voice in the wilderness.
Besides, who wants counsel from a guy who thinks the world is in trouble and getting worse every minute? Who needs the negativity of wild eyed Biblical fanaticism in their lives?
You would think that Bible pastors would be happy that their work load has eased off in a self sufficient world, but I guess we are just gluttons for punishment, or workaholics, or we don't have a real life of our own, or we really do believe all that "STUFF" we preach.
